As some of you know we were in New Mexico last weekend for a wedding . We have family there so we try to go at least twice a year and when a couple tells you that they want you to capture their wedding down there well then you gotta be all over that!
Our trip was a pretty long one, a LOT of driving to the land of enchantment, then to El Paso ( day 2 of the wedding) then back to NM. The kids did great though so we were some pretty happy parents.
We were originally gonna go to the Tent rocks on Sunday but we kinda partied with the family on Saturday night so then we decided to just chill Sunday and we went to Meow Wolf In Santa Fe. It was super amazing and I think everyone should definitely check it out. I kinda got nauseas and totally barfed after words due to the gnarly lights and all the museum had to offer, or it was just the elevation... TMI I know I'm sorry but I just wanna tell yall ERTHANG.
So any ways...
We decided to go on Monday before taking off back to TEJAS (Texas) the drive in New Mexico is so beautiful, there's a lot of land and it may get a little boring because it feels like your just looking at the same stuff for like 40 min but then you just fall in love with all the mountains ( if your like me you'll be in aw because mountains rule).
Kasha-Katuwe is located 40 miles southwest of Santa Fe. Kasha-Katuwe means "white cliffs" in pueblo language. The canyons and tent rocks are just beautiful! A 1.2 mile loop trail leads up through a slot canyon to a lookout point where the tent rocks may be viewed from about. We unfortunately didn't make it to the top because Ari started to get tired like 10 minutes before we made it and we had to get on the road to come home.
The pictures doesn't even do this place justice. I hope you enjoy our little adventure, Aidans pickle, and little face lol
We are just happy to be able to go on adventures with Ari and Aidan and show them the world(hopefully the whole world one day). Because to us that's so important, we wanna fill their life with adventures and not things. We rather them have stories to tell then stuff to show. This is something that means so much to us, and we just want to take all the adventures, see so many places and try so many things with them and that to us is all the riches in the world. Where will we go next?!
