Its spring break here in TeJas (Texas) and honestly that only really means its just time to take the kids out and let them get tired because if you don't they will drive you insane at home. I'm currently going through that right now. I've had to get u at least 15 times while writing this to go make sure some one wasn't bleeding or the living room wasn't on fire. After I'm done writing this I'm going to have to take them to the park because that's I bribed them with lol.
So yesterday morning we decided to take a little road trip and meet some friends for a little morning fun. We drove up to Pilot Point, about 50 minutes from where we live to go and pick some tulips. They open every year around spring time and it been a growing attraction. The drive there was sorta annoying since Ari (my 2 year old) decided to QUACK for a whole 15 minutes it felt like. So we now call her AFLAC. Its really just a fake cry that she does but there is no tears, no crying, just her with a straight face and her mouth opening up and making this really weird, annoying dying duck quack...
... it finally stopped when we got there!
We met up with friends and starting picking some tulips. I really didn't know they were different types of tulips so that was pretty cool. Obviously they had different colors but some just looked so different. The kids really enjoyed them self's and we had to keep reminding them that they had to chill out on picking a lot because it was $2.50 per tulip and if you picked it you bought it.
Ari was over it after like 10 minutes and she decided that a whole 50 min drive and a entry fee to this beautiful venue of flowers everywhere wasn't as fun as sand, so she was just playing with sand and getting her shoes dirty lol. WHYYYY?
At one point the little girls decided to play with toys because the flowers were boring lol. We had them pack up the toys so we could continue our adventure and Ari decided to show the whole venue her talented AFLAC QUACK! I seriously turned around as just saw eyes staring our way.
I saw one lady look around to try to see what that sound was and her face looked like it was saying "is someone killing a duck around here". Her face looked terrified!!!
Then Ari decided that she didn't want to be best friends with her friend over a fork.
At check out we find out we have to pay $60 because Aidan wanted to pick every freaking color of tulips... YEA, $60 for tulips yall I'm not even kidding.
I go ahead and pay, we get one last picture in, Ari now decides that she wants her best friend back so they walk holding hands and we moms are all AWWWWW. Nice tings don't last forever yall am I right? so after they give each other their good bye hugs the love is so so powerful that they keep squeezing and they fall back and little Kayla (Aris on and off again best friend lol) busts her lip with Aris head.
and that's all folks! I really hope you enjoyed our adventure to the Texas Tulips. If you don't have a vivid imagination then please enjoy the pictures below so you can put everything from my story together lol
Enjoy your day lovies, I now have to take some kids to the park and pray they fall asleep after so I can get some stuff done.
